If you’re a designer, you’re probably aware – or have become increasingly aware – of how important typography can be to your design’s success. Even seasoned designers can sometimes use a refresher course on how to best communicate more effectively with type. If you’re in Orlando this afternoon, there’s a wonderful opportunity to get a refresher course with an incredibly knowledgeable teacher in the day-long, two session “Gourmet Typography” workshop.

You’ll be in good hands with Ilene Strizver, founder of The Type Studio and typography master with a long list of impressive qualifications. The First Session (9AM – Noon) covers the fundamentals of typography and type design, and the Second Session (1PM – 4PM) covers more advanced skills and concepts.
