Global Pattern Trends with Lala’s Pequenos

When’s the last time you dug a little deeper and thought twice about the purchases you make? Do you buy punchy colorful products or prefer soft, muted shades? Do you make impulse decisions online or in the store?

It’s a lot to think about when juggling a busy schedule, but we have to say we’re intrigued by various markets, both locally and abroad and today we’ll be sharing some fun facts that Alessandra, the creative force behind the children’s line, Lala’s Pequenos, has graciously shared with us about her global customers.

For example, Americans love gray, brown, pink, blue, and greens combined in any which way so long as there are animals for boys and flowers for girls.

Accessories: Baby Bloomers

While there are currently no babies in the Pattern Pulp family, we’d be hard pressed to find anyone who’d turn down gifting these adorable bloomers from Bird and Banner this holiday season. While we’re not certain if these are actually in production beyond the limited collection at Shrimp Shop in LA, we’d love to see an expanded range, as the cut and pattern are equal parts chic and practical.

Spring Strollers with Åsa of Stockholm

Spring has sprung in Manhattan and that means stroller season has once again returned.  As I enjoyed a leisurely Saturday afternoon of people watching and casual reading in Hudson Park, I watched gaggles of moms pass by- each with a luxury stroller darker than the next.  I found it odd that no one had decorated their hood, a prime canvas for art.  At that very moment, Åsa Rodgers and her beautifully accessorized stroller walked by.
