PATTERN PULP

Twitter Influencer: Andy Gilmore

March 23rd, 2012

Looking through Andy Gilmore’s portfolio, it’s nearly impossible to choose a favorite. Mind boggling in scope, each piece explodes with color and geometry from the bold and flowing to the intricate and hypnotic. Music is a huge influence in his work, as the complex arrangements of shapes frequently reference scales and melodies.

Gilmore’s kaleidoscopic pieces have earned him a broad list of clients including the likes of Wired Magazine, The New York Times, Fast Company, Wallpaper, Warp Records and Ghostly International in addition to some stunning product collaborations. Twitter is a great place to stay on top of his work, of course, but Andy is also a fan of sharing a variety of interesting media and news.
