Responsibilities:
We are seeking an individual with an exceptional portfolio and a demonstrated range of capabilities, particularly traditional print graphics with a very strong understanding of pre-press and production.
- Candidate should understand and be deeply interested in creating beautiful design and thoughtful packaging within the luxury home decor world.
- Role will include ideating, designing and producing a range of projects from beautifully letter pressed invitations and unique luxury packaging systems for home to expertly branded offline marketing collateral with a strong editorial presentation.
- Candidate will be expected to work with a variety of internal teams and external partners, managing projects and deadlines as well as oversee all pre-press and production needs (including traveling for press checks).

- Market Packets (collateral package for trade shows)
- seasonal look books / catalogs
- brand guidelines
- unique packaging systems for luxury home items
- event invitations
- editorially-based event collateral

Requirements:
- Confident, articulate, curious, fearless, kind & fun
- 7+ years in communication and/or packaging design
- Outstanding typography skills
- Exquisite understanding of editorial layout and presentation
- Strong packaging skills to develop and produce unique luxury packaging systems
- Must be able to source and art direct illustrators and pattern designers
- Top-notch CS5 skills
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing either quality or precision
- Fanatical about detail
- Proven ability to see project from initial concept through to final printed/produced materials
- Strong communication skills: must be able to interface with a wide range of different print and production vendors
