Background:
We are BCF (boomyourbrand.com), a Virginia Beach, VA-based agency who’s looking for a freelance Designer/Art Director with a passion for crafting convention-altering digital design.

You are a highly conceptual creative force and have a portfolio that rocks. You will use your mad skills in the development of everything from branding, website design, mobile user interfaces, advertising, online media and social media. You will never be bored, use every part of the lobes in your brain, help produce incredible work that stands the test of time – and be part of a national caliber Creative team.

BCF is a 45+ person firm headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a town that offers both the Atlantic Ocean and a cosmopolitan lifestyle. We have awesome national and regional tourism and hospitality clients, like “Virginia is for Lovers,” the Virginia Beach CVB, the Aspen Chamber Resort Association and the Limelight Lodge of Aspen, CO. Responsibilities:
- Generating great visual (and written) ideas in service of the client’s business goals.
- Working with a team comprised of creative directors, copywriters, other designers, producers, technology gurus, animation guys, account service executives and principals of the agency.
- Designing websites, user interfaces, and information architecture.
- Producing feature-rich, experiential websites and advertising campaigns.

Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years experience in interactive and print design.
- Good (nay, great!) eye for layout, graphic design, and a deep love of typography.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Comfortable in a collaborative environment, but able (and willing) to follow direction.
- Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Able to produce at a consistent and steady pace.
- Great sense of humor and not overly sensitive.

Strongly desired but not required:
- Prior Agency experience
- Marketing and advertising background / experience
- A degree in design or technology
