PATTERN PULP

Pattern Pulp & Design*Sponge

July 19th, 2011

If you’re online and hunting for inspiration, I’d say it’s a given that you’ve visited Design*Sponge. Grace Bonney and her team of writers have created an archival mecca rich with content for nearly a decade now, serving up inspiration and a discerning eye on the design community at large.

That’s why it’s a pleasure (and an honor!) to be featured as part of their Sneak Peek series. My husband and I moved into our one bedroom apartment three summers ago and embarked on a gut renovation to expose all of the hidden details that had been locked behind dry wall. Our building was a former paper mill turned pickle factory and was converted to a Co-Op in the early 80s. It was my goal to merge our creative tastes (modern minimalism meets quirky humor) and infuse print and pattern wherever possible. Here’s a look at the results!
