This year’s symposium in Toronto will tackle the subject of “Crowdsourcing Creativity and Community.” Ten international thinkers will lead the event, sharing their personal and practical experiences with crowdsourcing and open source design as it relates to humanitarian projects and commercial design.

Whether or not crowdsourcing helps or hinders creativity will be debated as well as the how crowdsourcing and open source design is contributing to social change.
