Toronto: Crowdsourcing Creativity

Event Date: 27, 2011

Are you interested in the critical progress that’s occurring around new and alternative practices, materials, technologies and products? This year’s symposium in Toronto will tackle the subject of “Crowdsourcing Creativity and Community.” Ten international thinkers will lead the event, sharing their personal and practical experiences with crowdsourcing and open source design as it relates to humanitarian projects and commercial design.

Whether or not crowdsourcing helps or hinders creativity will be debated as well as the how crowdsourcing and open source design is contributing to social change. If you’re in town for the Interior Design Show, or a local interested in how modern technology, social networking and open source design is affecting the creative workforce, this symposium will be an interesting learning experience.
