Sydney: Getting Crafty

Event Date: 13 - 15, 2010

Knitting is making the rounds in Australia these days in celebration for the Sydney Design Festival. Today we’re highlighting three workshops that that look fun and interesting. Renowned knitwear and textile designer, Nikki Gabriel will be demonstrating how to make beautiful, complex garments from straightforward patterns. Craft specialist, Tamara Maynes will be instructing participants in cross-stitch techniques using one of her original kits. The Knitty Gritty & Loopy team will present all of the work once everything’s been compiled. For more info, click here.
