As winter stock trickles into our neighborhood stores and fills the pages of catalog mailers, artists and designers are finally watching the fruits of their summertime labors come to life. White and cream textures have become wearable masterpieces. This white sequined jacket from Flair magazine is as sculpturally appealing as this tubular dress from Dazed and Confused. Commercializing these trends for the masses, these textures are most appealing when applied to leather and knits. Secret Pon Pon of the UK and Urban Outfitters of the US remind us that cable can be anything but traditional.
