If you live in or around Manhattan, you’ve likely fallen in love with The Strand and it’s 18 miles of books. You’ve probably also seen their iconic tote bag being carried by young and old alike. In 2007, The Stand started their Artist Tote Bag Series and have been inviting established artists to contribute designs ever since. This year, however, they’re holding a contest in an effort to give emerging artists the opportunity to have their work displayed on their bag.
